Elizabeth & Brendan

Brendan and I have begun to look at some houses in the area. It is an interesting market to say the least. We went to one house that is a BIG Victorian. It was waaay too much house for us and I think that either there was a triple homicide in there or some human trafficking.

It was weirdly configured. The house was three stories and each floor had its own kitchen (or did at one point). However, you couldn’t make it into a multi-family house because of the way the entry way and stairwell is set up. We opted not to go down to the basement because we were scared.

There were several rooms being used as bedrooms and there was just a mattress on the floor and old computers/monitors/computer parts strewn on the floor. Lots of books including multiple copies of many titles. If the unibomber lived in Somerville, he might have lived here. We felt badly for the real estate agent because that is going to be difficult to unload.

Looks like not only will I out of town for Brendan’s birthday but I will be missing mine as well.

I hope North Carolina is ready for a party. RTP here I come!

Just viewed this this morning and it is really well done.

I am sitting in the Starbucks in the Zurich airport waiting for my boss and other work people to arrive. I took a more economical flight (read: not direct) and will now tackle the day with only about 2 hours sleep.

Before I traveled for work, I really wanted to do it. Then I realized it is not as fun as it seems. Ho hum. Woe is me.

Is it bad that I am already looking forward to going to bed?

140 days until B’s birthday.

So we were getting a lot of searches for “Elizabeth and Brendan 2010″ and we wondered why. Turns out another Liz and Brendan set up a website but added 2010 to the URL. So some of there guests have been searching and finding this blog instead of a wedding web site. Oops.

I don’t like pink and have a similar view to that of Kramer’s on the all the various ribbon things.

The first week of work is behind me and it was good and bad. What I realized is that I was working slower than normal which is to be expected but frustrating for me. I am still doing some work from home next week which is good.

We are still waiting for the test result and I am hopeful we will hear by Wednesday. And am praying we are finally told that all I need is hormonal therapy but am preparing for chemo. Of course I will keep my faithful readers updated.
