My physicians
I stalk everyone on the Internet: friends, clients, and doctors.
Meet my team so far:
Dr. Bita Tabesh, oncologist: We really, really, really like her. I feel like she gets us.
Dr. Katharine Carter, surgeon: I will meet her tomorrow and while I like her schooling, I don’t like that she spells her name “KathArine” instead of “Katherine” but that is me.
Any surgeon who does stitching in the OR all day and still has sewing and quilting listed as hobbies, is the perfect surgeon! All that attention to detail and perfection. Hollywood celebs who paid thousands for that kind of work
…but did SHE choose to spell her name that way or did her PARENTS?
That is an EXCELLENT point. Gold star for Sarah.
Dear Elizabeth,
Toffee and Riley said that you had been diagnosed recently with breast cancer. A good friend of mine got the same diagnosis a week ago and is beginning chemotherapy this week (8 treatments in 24 months) to be followed by radiation and then breast removal. She found the lump herself 8 months after getting a clean mamogram. How different the treatment is for different patients. Understandably she is very scared. But she is determined to beat this and I assume that you are too.
May the two of you and all of the other women and men suffering from this sneaky body-invading disease get to wave the victory flag after treatment has concluded. And may God bless……….

I guess you have a point there…hmmmm
In defense of Katharine, her parents chose that spelling for her. Is she the one that likes knitting and sewing? Nice!
