OK, well, not really. I have been doing some genealogical research and found out some interesting things. Namely, my great-grandmother (father’s side) was born in India during the British Occupation. At first I thought it was a transcription error (India instead of Ireland) but India kept popping up. I also found the family on a UK census and all the children were born in India.

Also, Brendan’s great-grandfather was tried for desertion from the Civil War but was absolved of the crime. He was just sick or something. We think he left the hospital and didn’t continue to fight.

    Oh those civil war deserters-they pop up all over the place.
    On our side-we think Thomas Begley was also a deserter.
