Apple Pickin’

Today we went to Nashoba Valley Winery and Orchard for some good ol’ apple picking. We picked this spot because they allow dogs. So we packed up the pup and headed about an hour outside the city. (This was a good test to see if Eli can handle the drive to NY. After an hour he was fine so it looks good with some stopping.) Also Eli was really well behaved while walking around, meeting new people (especially the kids, though one attacked him with hugs and kisses while her sister started crying because she wanted to hold the leash), and interacting with other dogs.

View from the Orchard.

And this place started out as a winery and have a large wine store. Brendan was sent in while I stayed outside with Eli. We thought maybe a red and white. This is him coming out of the store. You shouldn’t be carrying a box for 2 bottles of wine.

And this is Eli about 5 minutes after we left the orchard.  He was one tired, but happy, pup.

Let’s see if I am motivated to make the pie tomorrow.

  1. Kim says:

OK, I didn’t realize there was a winery there too. Nice.

  2. Elizabeth says:

    So now it is cool?

  3. Kim says:

    Now it is MORE cool.
