Raise your hand if you’re sure

So I can’t lift my hands up as my elbows are supposed to be below my shoulders.  At home this has not been that difficult to maintain.  Glasses that go on the top shelf are left for Brendan to put away.  I can bend my head down enough to wash my hair.  The problem arises when I am in the bookstore and the third book in the Twilight series is on the top shelf.  What is a girl to do?  I NEEDED that book.  I go get one of the “employees only” step stools and step on it.  Voila!  Eclipse is now mine.  Score.

What was it like in the young adult section?

  2. Elizabeth says:

Amazing! I had to stop my inner teen from picking out a book for a non-existent book report. Though at first I didn’t go to the young adult section, I was in regular fiction and almost had a heart attack. Then I realized the target audience for this book…

My taste in vampires goes to the macho ones like Angel.
I try to get my fix in the morning before work and watch the
reruns on TNT. Too bad Angel didn’t meet up with the Charmed ones-but
I guess LA and San Francisco are in different universes.

Don’t laugh. I read the first two books and am currently in the middle of the third. Maybe I secretly want to be a teenage girl?

  5. Elizabeth says:

I am pretty sure it is not “secretly”…
