Returning to work

Since I am up and about and I am bored, I have begun to have discussions about returning to work.  So come Monday, I will be back in the office.  Sort of.  I will be working a few hours in the office and then some from home.  I will work this modified schedule for a few weeks while I get used to the daily grind.

Work is not pushing the issue and my boss has actually selected to co-workers who are to police the number of hours I am in the office each day and make sure I am not pushing myself while she is out.

I should have picked a Monday that was not following an 8:00 pm Giants game.

  1. Teresa says:

    I’m impressed. Don’t push it.

  2. Papa Dan says:

I agree. Don’t rush it. Relax and enjoy being a lady of leisure or an early retiree :)

  3. Aunt Carol says:

Weren’t you out on disability and don’t you need a doctor to release you back to work? By the way did you mention to the doctor(s) that you were going back to work?

  4. Elizabeth says:

Yes and I told one doctor and because I will mainly be working from home there was no issue.
