My tomato plant.

I tried to grow heirloom tomatoes but something keeps eating them and only a few have matured.  I will stick to regular ones next year.

  1. Kristen says:

I’m going to send him some fruit roll-ups and juice boxes for those long days away from his sweet parents. also, i see no reason why getting a dog can’t also mean you got someone to clean your house – cats are peeing in toilets these days. i’m sure eli could take a moment from his busy schedule of looking out the window and being adorable (and eating your plants – MYSTERY SOLVED) to scrub a dish or two.

  2. Elizabeth says:

I think you are right. He should earn his keep. He is learning how to vacuum the floor with his mouth and training to be a guard dog. Although, right now his means of attack is licking and begging for attention.

  3. Papa Dan says:

looks like I will be having a record harvest of tomatoes, also having cucumbers and peppers for the first time. I will make sure we bring some up to Boston.

By the way what kind of treats is Eli partial to and toys also?

  4. Elizabeth says:

Eli is partial to rawhide, bully sticks, and things with string. His favorite is just plain old petting.
