Welcome to the latest member of the family!

So it looks like we have a new member of the family!  While we don’t have him yet, he is en route to us from Tennessee and then will be quarantined for 48 hours in Harvard, Mass and then he is ours.

We had to fill out an application, have a phone interview then go through a reference check.  Because we do not have a vet reference, my volunteer coordinator was going to call our personal references. Our personal references included Alett and Keith – so we worried because of Keith.  Next up was a home visit which is stressful because what are they looking for healthy food in the fridge?  a big backyard?   A huge living space?  Turns out they couldn’t get a volunteer to come over so we ended up just sending pictures.

Below are the pictures provided by the rescue organization.  We will have a ton of pictures to follow.

  5. Elizabeth says:

We are kind of waiting to buy him his toys – we have a bone, balls, and this chew toy thing. I wanted to buy the whole store up. Plus I found a really cute dog bed but it was also really big. Our living room would have been all dog bed.

  6. Papa Dan says:

We are already buying him Christmas Presents, from Santa of course. You will have to tell us what his preferences are, especially as it apploes to rawhide flavors.

  7. Liz & Brendan,
